19 Months Old!

I am so far behind and time just keeps ticking away, so, here goes! I'm planning on writing down current as well as past memories about this sweet boy who is my only grandson. He is already 19 months old!

Right now he's at such a fun age! He started walking rather late, 15 months old, but once he got started he just kept practicing 'til he got it right, and since then has been walking and running and spinning non stop! Yes he loves to spin in circles until he gets dizzy, which I like to try to discourage, but he is intent on spinning until he falls.

He has a new thing where he just loves to help with any kind of household chore, and it's so cute to watch because he is super-observant. For instance I was watching him help his mom 'folf' laundry, and he would take a shirt from the basket, and shake it like she did to straighten out the wrinkles! It was adorable!
 Another thing he loves is helping to unload the dishwasher, which means anytime he hears someone open it up, he runs from wherever he happens to be saying "I'll get it! I'll get it!". He is disappointed if they just had put a dirty dish in and he couldn't help in any way!

6 Weeks Old

Where oh where did the time go! Is it possible that my Grandson is already 6 weeks old!? My little sweetheart is already 12 lbs; he is a healthy, growing, strong, future baseball star! Oh, how I do love him.

Something to look forward to!

I absolutely can not wait to see my little Grandson tomorrow! It's been 5 whole days since I last held him. Seems like forever when they are so young! He is less than 3 weeks old and my desire is that I can bond with him, let him learn my voice, be close to him at this time of his life when he is just learning about the world around him. He is so precious!
